Marketing and Communications Executive
Location: Hybrid – Swindon/Home working
Term: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri, permanent
Salary: £32,000 - £34,500 dependent on experience
We’re looking for a Marketing and Communications Executive with an understanding of the entire marketing mix to join our successful SME not-for-profit organisation, where your expertise will drive real business growth.

This role will suit a proactive, ambitious person who is excited to influence and shape campaigns across brand awareness, content development, social media, email marketing, and internal communications.

What you can look forward to in this role...
- Content Strategy – Create compelling content for email marketing, newsletters, blogs, PR, and promotional materials that drive engagement and conversions.
- Email Marketing – Develop, execute, and track email marketing campaigns, leveraging insights to improve effectiveness.
- Social Media Growth – Manage and enhance social media platforms to boost brand awareness, engagement, and community growth.
- Performance Reporting – Co-ordinate and produce data-driven reports on marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights.
- Customer Advocacy – Collect case studies, testimonials, and customer reviews to showcase success stories and build brand credibility.
- Event Planning – Co-ordinate, plan, execute, and attend events as exhibitors and delegates, as well as host digital and in-person events for stakeholders.
- Website Management – Ensure website content is accurate, engaging, and optimised for lead generation and user experience.
- Marketing Collateral – Maintain and update key marketing materials, including information packs, user guides, and agreements.
- Internal Communications – Drive colleague engagement and knowledge through thoughtful and engaging interactions.
To be successful, you’ll bring...
- Proven experience as a professional marketing and communications executive or in a similar role.
- Demonstrable examples of effective work across all the marketing disciplines required of the role.
- Confident and effective communication skills.
- Digital-savvy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, CMS platforms (WordPress), CRM systems (Dynamics), Canva, Constant Contact, and basic analytics tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Embedded personal values that include respect, integrity, and honesty.
- A passion for creative thinking with an eye for detail and a flair for content writing.
- A positive, agile mindset with a naturally resilient nature.
