Description

We're recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Executive (Maternity Cover) to help us deliver Enva’s ambitious growth plans. This is a Fixed Term maternity cover role within the existing Marketing and Communications team, reporting to the Head of Marketing.

Are you a B2B customer focused marketer with a passion for sustainability? Do you have a creative mindset balanced by an ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality written and digital work in a fast-paced environment? An ability to turn complex issues into succinct, compelling content for a wide range of stakeholders?

You will be a key team member supporting the marketing team deliver on its strategy, manage the social media channels, support the launch of our new website, and assist with day-to-day tactical marketing activity. The role will be remote (Home) working with Linwood (Glasgow) as the base office. There will be a requirement for occasional travel to Enva depots in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to create compelling content cross multiple channels and audiences (e.g., digital, print, social media, email and events), ensuring an integrated approach and consistency.
  • Deliver engaging, high quality written and digital content, in line with brand style and guidelines.
  • Create and edit content such as news stories, videos, blog posts, social media content, web pages, award entries and case studies.
  • Support the relaunch of the new Enva website.
  • Social Media Management - Developing engaging content for Enva’s social media platforms, aligning with our brand voice and marketing objectives. Managing and optimising social media accounts, monitoring engagement, and implementing strategies to increase visibility.
  • Content development to support lead generation and brand awareness efforts, including presentations, brochures, flyers, website content, case studies, exhibition materials, graphics, thought leadership and other collateral, as required.
  • Email campaigns – create, schedule, and optimise effective email campaigns that help nurture leads and maintain customer relationships in line with GDPR best practices.
  • Monitor, report and analyse marketing campaign performance, with a focus on learning and evolving.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment.
  • Proficient in using marketing software and tools (e.g., Content Management Systems (CMS), social media management platforms, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and have an awareness of data analytics and planning tools.
  • This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

The right candidate will demonstrate:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong copywriting skills.
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams.
  • Experience of using website content management systems, social media monitoring platforms, email marketing software and CRM.
  • Strong analytical and ICT skills.
  • Proof reading, editorial skills.
  • Keeping up to date with marketing and digital trends and best practices.
  • SharePoint experience. (Desirable)
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficient. (Desirable)
  • Basic Video editing experience. (Desirable)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, consistency and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, positive approach.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
  • Foster positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Degree in marketing, communications or equivalent.
  • Some years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • In depth understanding of marketing principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in a B2B environment (Desirable)
  • Experience in a similar industry or sustainability/ circular economy would be an advantage.
