Marketing Projects Director at The JGA Group

Are you highly motivated with great writing skills, a natural flair for creative thinking and an ability to get things done?

The purpose of the role is to plan and execute marketing campaigns and to create high-quality content for JGA’s external communications channels. This will include the https://www.jga-group.com/ online and print marketing materials, social media and email marketing as well as email and web-based communications with learners.

We are a lovely company providing a wide range of niche apprenticeships and shorter courses to a wide range of often very well-known organisations. We care about every single one of our learners.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the smaller marketing campaigns and provide support for larger initiatives, using existing and new marketing channels
  • Plan and execute email and social media campaigns to promote The JGA Group and support learner’s journey’ through their courses
  • Undertake post-campaign analysis and reports
  • Create or commission, edit and publish creative assets for web, print and social media, including photo and video content
  • Manage the content on the JGA website and learner zones including researching and writing stories
  • Manage and develop the JGA channels for X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube and provide support for content on LinkedIn
  • Assist at events for staff, alumni and learners
  • Support content and channel development for staff communications, where needed
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for engaging audiences across our channels
  • Ensure a consistent look and feel for all content, aligning with both internal and external brand guidelines
  • Any reasonable request from management

Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Able to work confidently across all communication channels – online, offline, digital and social
  • Good organisational skills and an eye for detail
  • Strong IT skills in particular with Microsoft Office, experience updating websites, Canva and video editing tools
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms – mainly LinkedIn and X
  • Able to work on multiple projects at the same time – from fast turnaround to longer-term, more strategic projects.
  • Imaginative creator with a heart for storytelling
  • Able to work flexibly and adaptably in a small team, even when based remotely
  • High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task, self-motivate and manage projects on time and on budget
  • Able to negotiate with and influence teams and stakeholders
  • Resilience to working under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills
  • Dynamic, creative and passionate

Requirements

  • Full time
  • Three to four days per week based at home, one to two days a week in an office in Central London (near Paddington Station)
  • At least 12 months marketing or content creation experience
  • After gaining additional experience there may be an opportunity for further formal training or a marketing exec/marketing manager apprenticeship
