Morrisons Market Street in Bromsgrove is seeking a friendly Bakery Assistant to join our fresh in-store bakery team. You will help deliver great customer service, bake a wide range of breads, rolls and doughnuts to our spec, and keep vibrant bakery displays fully stocked.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be eager to learn, with a focus on quality and presentation. Some roles require being over 18 for health and safety reasons, and a positive team spirit is

• Experience in a retail bakery or fast-paced food environment is welcome.
• Must be over 18 due to health and safety requirements.
• You will be delivering warm, friendly service and maintaining quality products.

Our fresh in-store bakeries are a huge part of what makes Market Street special. From fresh bread and rolls to baps, barms, cobs, and jam doughnuts, our Bakers craft delicious baked goods every single day.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Deliver friendly, helpful service that highlights the fresh bakery products we offer every shift.
• Prepare quality baked goods: Bake and prepare a wide range of breads, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products to company specification.
• Maintain vibrant displays: Keep fresh, attractive bakery displays fully stocked throughout the trading day to ensure product availability.
• Keep operations safe and smooth: Operate bakery equipment safely, maintain high health and safety standards, and support other fresh counters when needed.
