Job summary

Chevron Corp. is seeking a Risk Analytics & Digital Analyst to provide independent market risk oversight and digital enhancement of risk reporting for Supply & Trading.

The role collaborates with trading, IT and global risk teams to deliver timely risk insights and decision-support in a hybrid London-based setting. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in market risk management, commodity trading, or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of VaR, P&L, exposure metrics.
• Experience with Excel, SQL and Python for risk analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk control oversight to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Perform daily risk reporting across trading portfolios, monitoring VaR, P&L, exposures.
• Analyze drivers of P&L and exposure across commodity trading activities.
• Model and advise on market risk profiles from trade to portfolio.
• Apply risk principles to ensure independence and transparent decisions.
• Escalate breaches and recommend mitigation.
• Serve as a market risk advisor to trading teams.
• Build collaborations across trading, compliance and IT.
• Deploy GARM and Risk Engine with Project Aurora team.
• Align analytics with GARM, ETRM, data architecture.
• Design interactive dashboards and visualizations.
• Apply data analytics, transformation and modeling techniques.
• Develop and deploy automation to streamline reporting.
• Use Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SQL, Python.
• Improve data quality and system integration.
• Drive continuous improvement of risk reporting.
• Mentor others in digital tools and analytics.
