Job Description:

As a Market Development Representative (MDR) at FloQast, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our company. Sitting in the sales team, you will be responsible for inbound lead qualification, nurturing, and lead reactivation, utilizing an omnichannel approach including emails, social outreach, phone calls, etc. Your primary objective will be to identify and engage with prospects who have expressed pain points that FloQast solutions can address. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for building relationships, and a results-driven mindset. This role is a hybrid role, requiring work in the London, UK office 3 times per week. *Visa sponsorship is NOT available at this time*

What You'll Do:

  1. Qualify inbound leads from marketing channels such as website inquiries, content downloads, and event registrations.
  2. Complete ad hoc projects for departments like Business Development, Revenue Operations, and Marketing by updating and maintaining Salesforce, Outreach, and other systems to support revenue generation.
  3. Engage with leads via emails, calls, etc., to understand their needs and assess their fit for FloQast's solutions, delivering ready-to-convert leads.
  4. Warm up leads by providing relevant information, addressing inquiries, and establishing rapport to build trust.
  5. Educate prospects on the value and benefits of FloQast's products, highlighting features and use cases.
  6. Use a consultative approach to understand prospects' pain points and align solutions accordingly.
  7. Maintain accurate records of all interactions and prospect data in the CRM system.
  8. Achieve and surpass monthly/quarterly targets for qualified leads and pipeline growth.
  9. Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to effectively position FloQast's solutions.
  10. Perform other tasks as assigned to help meet company goals.

What You'll Bring:

  1. At least 1 year of experience in audit, accounting, or consulting.
  2. Degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating complex concepts clearly.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospects.
  5. Results-oriented with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
  6. Self-motivated, proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
  7. Ability to quickly learn and convey the value of software products.
  8. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot), and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is a plus.
  9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to change.
