Job summary

Build is revolutionizing AI for the Built World by empowering teams with market intelligence and robust data workflows. In this role you will track capacity, land and asset movements, and translate findings into client-ready research outputs for our AI-driven workflows.

You will collaborate with geospatial and data engineering teams to define data needs, source data, and ensure accuracy to support live deals and strategic decisions across the US and Europe.

• Experience handling large datasets and performing rigorous QA on data quality.

• Research outputs: market reports, site and submarket briefs, and client-ready analysis that supports live deals.
• Source discovery: finding and evaluating new public, proprietary and alternative data sources, and working with engineering to bring them into Build’s platform.
• Data quality: checking that the numbers behind every site and market view are accurate, current and defensible.
• Insight into product: turning recurring research questions into workflows and checks that our AI can run at scale.

About the role

Build validates powered land and built world opportunities faster than anyone else - power capacity, energisation dates, zoning, title, pricing. The quality of every one of those answers depends on knowing the market better than the market knows itself.

This role owns Build’s market intelligence. You’ll track where capacity is coming online, what land and assets are trading for, who is building what and where, and turn that into research our clients, our domain experts and our AI workflows use every day. You’ll work closely with our geospatial and data engineering team to decide what data we need, find it, and make sure it’s right.

What you will own

Who this might be

• An analyst or researcher on a data center, energy or capital markets research team at a brokerage, investor or advisory firm

• Someone from a real estate or infrastructure data company who knows where the good data lives and where it breaks

• A strategy or due diligence analyst who has screened markets and sites across multiple geographies

• Strong with spreadsheets and data tools; SQL or Python is a strong plus
