Our client, a global, multi-billion dollar AUM, multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking to hire a 'Market Data Specialist' within their global Data team.

The role involves managing internal data infrastructure, data contract frameworks, and relationships with external stakeholders such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Refinitiv. Responsibilities include vendor management, contract negotiations, onboarding new partners, and participating in projects to optimize data usage and procurement processes.

The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience as an MDM / Market Data Analyst / Vendor Management Analyst at a buy-side firm, bank, or major data vendor, and a strong academic background. Candidates must be willing to work in a lean, collaborative team and take a hands-on approach.
