Job summary

Nomura is seeking a Market Data Content Business Analyst for the London location. The role sits within Wholesale Data & Operations Technology and focuses on front-to-back data governance, content data management, and cost optimisation across Market, Index and Reference Data.

You will liaise with business stakeholders and external data providers, approve data service requests, and oversee trials and renewals. Strong financial services experience and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Seasoned professional with knowledge of trade life cycle, markets and products.
• Experience in an investment bank or broker/dealer environment; middle office and/or operations welcome.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage market data relationships between business stakeholders and external data providers.
• Approve or reject market data requests, aligning with cost and domain strategy.
• Oversee market data trials, renewals, and cancellations for each business unit.
• Led cost-optimization initiatives and advised business units on data content.
