Market Data Admin and Compliance Support Analyst

Job Title: Market Data Admin and Compliance Support Analyst

Location: London
Contract Length: 6 Months

About Our Client:
Our client is a leading organisation in the financial services sector, dedicated to providing exceptional services while maintaining strict compliance and data integrity. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Market Data Admin and Compliance Support Analyst to join their team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

Role Overview:
As a Market Data Admin and Compliance Support Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing market data systems and trading applications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting the organisation in achieving its operational goals. Your expertise will ensure that all market data contracts, vendor licences, and compliance requirements are meticulously managed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Market Data Systems (MDS) and Trading Systems, including contracts and agreements, ensuring accurate tracking of new, old, and renewed agreements, as well as term changes and queries.
  • Oversee vendor Market Data licences and manage permissions and access control for exchange and specialist data (e.g., Refinitiv DACS, Bloomberg Admin portal).
  • Conduct risk assessments for market data and trading applications, including Application Security Risk Assessments (ASRA) and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM).
  • Maintain an inventory of Market Data and Trading Applications and ensure accurate cost allocations and invoice management within financial control systems (e.g., FITS, Coupa).
  • Ensure adherence to market data compliance requirements, including surveillance, monitoring access control, and compliance reviews.
  • Participate in audits conducted by vendors and internal teams, ensuring regular verification of market data permissions and usage.
  • Provide expert advice on market data queries from users and IT staff with exceptional accuracy.
  • Support user departments in onboarding third-party vendors while adhering to Anti-Bribery and Corruption guidelines.
  • Assist with data cleaning tasks, budget control, and queries related to MDS and trading systems.
  • Maintain technical documentation to reflect the live production environment and ensure thorough updates to the organisation's fault reporting system.
  • Engage in projects related to vendor system upgrades and enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in market data management and compliance support within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of market data licencing, risk assessments, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to varied stakeholders.
  • Proficient in managing access control systems and financial management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
