Job summary

Carnival UK is seeking an Assistant Superintendent, Technical to support refit and in-service projects across the P&O Cruises and Cunard fleets. You will work with shoreside engineers, onboard teams and suppliers to deliver safe, compliant and cost-controlled outcomes.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent onboard experience, strong problem-solving, collaboration and project coordination skills. A hybrid working arrangement with travel to ships is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a licensed onboard Deck/Technical Officer background.
• Experience in managing equipment risk, reliability and asset availability.
• Experience supporting technical projects and coordinating contractors.
• Ability to collaborate with technical specialists, suppliers and operations.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of refit and in-service technical projects on ships.
• Prepare technical scopes, specifications and assist tender processes.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors and procurement activities to control cost and quality.
• Monitor progress and contribute to continuous improvement of asset performance.
