Job summary

Thales UK, based in Cheadle, invites applications for a System Integration & Test Engineer. You will join the SI&T team supporting submarines and maritime sensor projects from design through delivery, ensuring robust hardware and software integration.

The role requires knowledge of IVVQ, test planning, and experience with test equipment in naval environments. It includes field trials and platform-related activities, with UK security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience across IVVQ in system integration testing.
• Ability mapping requirements to test activities and evidence.
• Experience with test plans and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality hardware and software solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Develop test and trials strategies and document results.
• Support integration between equipment and third-party systems.
• Support validation and qualification activities for MMS solutions.
• Assist customer acceptance activities prior to delivery.
• Maintain deployed hardware/software and train suppliers.
• Conduct platform trials and data capture with safety.
