Job summary

Serco is seeking an Operations and Systems Administrator for the Defence Maritime Services Next Generation team at HMNB Devonport, Plymouth. You will help ensure the smooth administration of operational systems, vessels and personnel, enabling the delivery of essential maritime services.

You will work with operational teams, vessel Masters and customers to maintain records, support data-driven decisions and contribute to contractual performance in a complex maritime environment.

Qualifications

• BPSS clearance is required.
• Possible higher-level security clearance (CTC/SC) may be needed.
• UK residency may be required for clearance levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate operational, contract and personnel records across systems.
• Support administration of operational tasking requirements and respond to customer requests.
• Manage vessel crewing and tasking records, ensuring data is current.
• Assist with purchasing activities and support operation expenditure processes.
• Prepare reports to support contractual delivery and training compliance.
• Collaborate with operational teams, vessel crews and stakeholders to maximise service delivery.
