Job summary

Trinity House is seeking a Light Dues Administrator in Harwich on a fixed-term basis. The role involves processing port records into the Automated Light Dues Collection System and ensuring Light Certificates are issued accurately after careful data analysis.

You will liaise with shipbrokers, owners, banks and port authorities, applying meticulous administrative and ICT skills. A strong understanding of finance-related processes is desirable, with a focus on accuracy.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs including English and Maths.
• Two level 3 qualifications (e.g. A Levels) or Level 3 Business Administration or relevant demonstrable experience.

Responsibilities

• Process port record data onto the Automated Light Dues Collection System.
• Ensure Light Certificates are issued correctly by analysing records.
• Liaise with Shipbrokers, Light Dues Collectors, Ship Owners, Shipping Agents and Port Authorities.
• Operate with accuracy and attention to detail within set procedures.
