Job summary

Arup is seeking a talented Maritime Engineer to join our growing Maritime Team across Scotland and the North of England. You will collaborate with structural, civil and geotechnical engineers to deliver maritime and marine infrastructure projects from concept to construction support.

You will work with senior engineers, take responsibility on projects, engage with clients and stakeholders, and support development of graduate engineers while contributing to coastal resilience, port development,

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with maritime or related infrastructure design experience.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartered Engineer.
• Experience designing and delivering maritime or waterfront infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, BS 6349 or equivalent.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects from masterplanning and concept through to detailed design and construction.
• Produce and review maritime engineering designs, calculations, reports, drawings and digital models.
• Undertake inspections, condition surveys and technical assessments.
• Develop technical details and sketches for CAD and Revit.
• Support specifications, contract documentation and project management.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.
