Arup is seeking a talented Maritime Engineer to join our growing Maritime Team across Scotland and the North of England. You will collaborate with structural, civil and geotechnical engineers on a diverse portfolio including port development, offshore energy, and coastal resilience.

Hybrid career development is available as you work with experienced colleagues, take responsibility for projects, and mentor graduate engineers while engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.

Formación

• BEng, MEng or MSc in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or working towards Chartered status (MICE, MIStructE or equivalent).
• Experience designing and delivering maritime or related infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, BS 6349 and relevant industry standards.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
• Confident working with clients, contractors, regulators and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver projects from masterplanning and concept through to detailed design and construction.
• Produce maritime engineering designs, calculations, reports, drawings and digital models.
• Undertake inspections, condition surveys and technical assessments.
• Develop technical details and sketches for CAD and Revit.
• Support specifications, contract documentation and project management.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.
