Job summary

Clarksons plc in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join our CPS Division. You will provide pragmatic legal counsel across a broad range of commercial and operational matters, including offshore wind, oil & gas, marine logistics, and customs.

This is a high-visibility role reporting to the CPS Managing Director, offering the chance to influence strategic decisions and to work with senior stakeholders across the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• PQE 5-6 years in a commercial law role.
• Experienced in commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, review and draft commercial contracts, including customer and supplier terms and framework agreements.
• Provide day-to-day legal support to an international operational business.
• Manage contractual liability and commercial risk; handle disputes and claims.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters relevant to shipping, offshore energy, and logistics.
