Make your mark as a Marine Workshop Engineer at Gardline!

This role involves providing skilled mechanical engineering and technical services for the marine workshop and the company fleet.

Your responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on company vessels worldwide.
• Travel at short notice if necessary.
• Provide and maintain high standards of work in the marine workshop and on vessels.
• Assist in training junior workshop staff.
• Assist with class machinery surveys as instructed by superintendents.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting safe working practices.
• Ensure safety, security, and maintenance of the building, systems, fittings, and equipment, reporting defects and ensuring safety for yourself and others.
• Be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.

Qualifications and Qualities:

• Pass ENG1/STCW95 medical or have valid medical/training.
• Proven experience in the marine mechanical industry.
• City and Guilds or NVQ in mechanical engineering or similar qualification.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
