Are you looking for a career opportunity within electronic technology recycling?

Straight Forward Recruitment are excited to be representing our Client, who is a leading expert in the field.

Our Client, based within the Norwich area, are experts in recycling electrical components and products.

They are looking for a successful candidate to be trained as an accomplished Workshop Technician.

As a Workshop Technician, you must have the motivation for professional development and the ability to learn product knowledge.

On a daily basis, you’ll be processing, assessing, and grading an assortment of handheld and desktop electrical and computer components.

This will involve the testing of touch screens, grading, assessing for quality and performance, computer keyboards, touch screen pens, and the packaging of tested items.

You’ll also need basic computer skills, as once products have been tested, you’ll be recording all completed work.

The ideal candidate will also provide holiday cover for the warehouse and logistics team.

This will involve checking a customer manifest, picking the ordered products, and packing them according to product type, with the relevant safety packing.

All training and support will be given on all aspects of what’s required to undertake your daily tasks and duties.

This is an ongoing Temporary position, which could lead to a permanent position, subject to a successful proven qualifying period.

Days & Hours:

Monday to Friday – 8.00am to 4.30 pm.

Pay:

£12.50 for all hours worked.
