Job description

STS Aviation Services is hiring Aircraft Mechanics in Norwich, United Kingdom.

Position Summary:

STS Aviation Services is seeking to recruit a B1 Mechanic on a contract basis until the end of November, based at our Norwich Line station. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing line station operations. The successful candidate will undertake Line Maintenance activities, ensuring all Part 145 maintenance requirements are met in accordance with our processes and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance within the limitations of company approvals.
  2. Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements are accomplished.
  3. Order spares, complete paperwork for unserviceable components, and record all maintenance activities accurately.
  4. Support ad hoc AOG requirements.
  5. Perform maintenance in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Rectify defects on inbound aircraft.
  7. Meet and greet inbound aircraft and debrief the crew.
  8. Dispatch aircraft as required.
  9. Perform allocated maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
  10. Maintain high standards of work.
  11. Complete all required documentation.
  12. Comply with company procedures, policies, regulations, and MOE.
  13. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  14. Adhere to Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
Skills & Experience:
  1. Previous line maintenance experience preferred.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic.
  3. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing requirements.
  4. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  5. Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  6. Knowledge of MS Office applications.
