Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Sub Agent to join the Marine and Tunnel portion in London, ahead of mobilisation to Suffolk. You will develop construction methods, assess risks, and ensure readiness for offshore dredging, rock placement, heavy lifting, monopile installation, drilling and grouting campaigns in the North Sea.

The role involves coordinating ECI activities, developing methodologies, and managing subcontract tender scopes, reporting to the Marine Preconstruction Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine/preconstruction environments.
• Ability to assess safety, programme, cost and risk during planning and delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and interfaces with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ECI activities for a defined section of works.
• Develop construction methodologies and perform constructability reviews for marine activities.
• Review proposed solutions for safety, programme, cost and risk; identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop scopes of work and technical requirements for subcontract tender packages and procurement.
