Job summary

Carnival UK is seeking a Superintendent, Marine Refit to lead technical governance of marine asset scopes across refits and docking projects. You will partner with shipyards, classification societies and internal specialists to ensure safety, regulatory compliance and timely delivery.

The role requires a strong maritime engineering background, with hybrid working up to two days from home and travel below 25%. Join a diverse team delivering high-quality refit outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or higher in a maritime-related discipline.
• Reliability or systems engineering qualification.
• Experience in operational marine technical roles (naval architecture, structural, lifesaving appliances).
• Ability to interpret technical data and assess asset risk for refit schedules.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for marine asset scopes in refits and major docking projects.
• Lead lifecycle planning for major marine asset works, prioritising renewal and upgrades.
• Provide technical governance during refit execution, managing risk and quality.
• Manage interfaces with classification societies and regulatory bodies.
