Job summary

Red - Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical operation of our client's vessels. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the role combines hands-on engineering oversight with budget and systems management.

The successful applicant will be a qualified Chief Engineer or Unlimited 1st/2nd Engineer, with marine technical department experience, strong English, and the flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment in the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chief Engineer or 1st/2nd Engineer Unlimited
• Experience in a marine technical department and budgets
• Experience with research/survey DP vessels (preferred)
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
• Flexible and dynamic in a changing environment
• Interpersonal, planning and organisational skills
• Valid driver’s licence
• Right to work in the UK
