Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead marine infrastructure projects in a high-profile framework. You will coordinate production staff and subcontractors, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budget and with rigorous quality control.

The role requires at least five years in marine or civil engineering, strong communication and leadership skills, and flexibility to travel as needed, with BPSS/SC clearance as a potential requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' project experience within marine or civil engineering, with dockyard experience desirable.
• Proven track record delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, managers, suppliers, and customers.
• Strong organisational skills to coordinate multiple task elements.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Ability to obtain BPSS and SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage marine infrastructure projects, supervising staff and subcontractors to meet quality, safety, timekeeping, and conduct standards.
• Prepare detailed project plans and monitor hours, materials, consumption, and subcontracted activities against scope to deliver on time and within budget.
• Plan and monitor programmes, costs, labour, materials, and equipment to maintain smooth workflow and uninterrupted delivery.
• Provide regular project progress reports to senior management, flagging risks, delays or issues impacting cost, safety, programme or completion.
• Purchase and manage consumables, plant, and materials to support projects and ensure continuity.
• Liaise with customers to ensure needs, expectations, and project requirements are understood throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation across all site locations.
• Travel to customer sites to undertake surveys and support quotation processes when required.
• Prepare, implement and brief SHE and quality documentation prior to works, ensuring safe systems of work are applied at all times.
• Ensure all LTQRs are completed, retained and compiled into final quality packs on project completion.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Carry out additional duties commensurate with the role to support wider company objectives.
