Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee marine infrastructure projects within a high-profile framework. You will coordinate production staff and subcontractors to deliver on time, to budget and with strong safety practices.

The role requires proven PM experience in marine or civil engineering, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a willingness to travel across the UK. A full UK driving licence and BPSS/SC clearance eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' project experience in marine or civil engineering.
• Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, managers, suppliers and customers.
• Strong organisational skills for coordinating multiple project elements.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams and specifications.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Ability to obtain BPSS and SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise marine infrastructure projects and subcontractors.
• Plan, monitor and deliver all project elements including labour, materials and equipment.
• Prepare detailed project plans and monitor hours, materials and costs.
• Provide regular progress reports and communicate risks or delays.
• Purchase and manage consumables, plant and materials to support projects.
• Liaise with customers to ensure needs and requirements are met.
