Hours: 35 hour contract - Monday-Thursday 0900-1700, Friday 0900-1600 with some flexibility
Compensation: £50,000-£55,000

As Marine Manager, you will lead the day to day management of the Marine team at the Port of Grangemouth, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vessels. Working closely with Port Operations and Forth and Tay Navigation Service (FTNS), you will plan, coordinate and oversee marine activities, ensuring all shipping movements are conducted safely, efficiently and in full compliance with relevant legislation, harbour authority requirements and Company policies.
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative marine professional who can confidently balance safety, operational efficiency and customer service in a busy port environment. You will be an effective leader with strong decision-making skills, capable of building positive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and providing clear direction to teams in both routine and emergency situations. With a hands‑on approach and a commitment to continuous improvement, you will be comfortable working across multiple priorities and adapting to changing operational demands.
The successful candidate will be able to travel regularly to Leith, typically a couple of times per week, and may also be required to visit other ports across our Scottish operations from time to time to support projects, provide operational cover or collaborate with the wider Marine management team.
