Job summary

ITS Building People are recruiting an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join a specialist providing hydraulic services within the marine sector. This role combines workshop-based work with mobile engineering, handling hydraulic systems on marine vessels around Paignton.

Minimum 2 years' hydraulic experience is required; heavy plant background is desirable. A Full UK driving licence is essential, and the role offers overtime opportunities and door-to-door travel pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' hydraulic engineering experience.
• Heavy plant/construction background desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic strip-down and repair.
• Hydraulic system builds.
• Testing and commissioning hydraulic systems.
• Working on hydraulic equipment and systems on marine vessels.
• Diagnosing hydraulic faults and carrying out repairs.
• Workshop-based engineering and mobile servicing.
• Travelling within approximately a 60-mile radius of Paignton.
• Carrying out maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
