Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd, on behalf of a well-established hydraulics specialist, seeks a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer to cover Ellesmere Port and the North West, visiting customer sites to diagnose issues, fabricate and fit hoses, and restore plant quickly.

You’ll work Monday to Friday with an on-call rota; basic salary £28,000 plus overtime, out-of-hours payments and commission. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience manufacturing and fitting hydraulic hoses.
• Good understanding of hydraulic systems and components.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites across the North West to deal with hydraulic breakdowns.
• Diagnose hydraulic faults and identify failure causes.
• Manufacture, assemble and fit hydraulic hoses.
• Repair and service hydraulic components and hoses.
• Test hoses and systems for safety and fit.
• Provide professional advice and practical solutions to customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Identify opportunities to develop new business and grow the customer base.
• Participate in the on-call rota.
