Job summary

Ocean Infinity is seeking an HSEQ Lead to govern and scale operational safety across Data Services marine operations. You will own the safety model for control of work, readiness, competence, and escalation, ensuring proportionate, risk-led engagement across campaigns and vessels.

You will lead a team of HSEQ Operational Advisors, provide advisory support on complex projects, and drive a transition to a complexity-based coverage model while maintaining strong safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading HSEQ in marine/offshore/subsea contexts.
• Experience designing risk-based engagement models (complexity scoring, bid/tender risk).
• Strong understanding of control of work, permit-to-work, and mobilisation/readiness frameworks.
• Experience leading and developing HSEQ teams in a scaling organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSEQ governance for Data Services across live marine operations.
• Define control of work, readiness, and competence frameworks and ensure scalability across campaigns.
• Develop and implement a complexity scoring model to guide HSEQ involvement.
• Drive standardisation, automation, and AI-enabled improvements to reduce repetitive work.
• Escalate systemic issues to governance; translate incidents into improved controls.
