Job summary

Sizewell C Limited is seeking a Marine HSW Advisor to support the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) on the Sizewell C project. The role covers monitoring health, safety and wellbeing input from design to implementation within the Marine and Tunnels Section.

You will lead investigations, conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and promote a proactive HSW culture across project teams and contractors. A NEBOSH General Certificate and IOSH status or progression are favored.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Graduate IOSH member or working towards.
• Broad experience of complex construction and civils projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and provide HSW input from design through to implementation and support the broader HSW agenda as required.
• Undertake planned project inspections / tours as per Frequency Matrix.
• Deliver pre-work site inspections to evaluate and address potential risks at planning stages.
• Review, track and trend unplanned events and support project / site management in their completion of investigations.
• Prepare written reports following site visits, inspections, audits and investigations.
• Review and update Project documentation.
• Deliver training and advisory sessions to personnel and contractors in conjunction with HR teams.
• Share learning across projects and business streams.
• Promote the reporting of Close Calls and deliver Safety Cascades.
