Job summary

Johnson Controls in Manchester is seeking a Project Manager to lead fixed fire protection projects for Navy vessels worldwide. You will coordinate delivery, manage client communications, and ensure contracts meet customer requirements.

You will organise packages, obtain supplier quotes, track progress with MS Project, and travel within the UK. The role requires PM experience, strong communication, MS Office proficiency, and UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Management
• Excellent communication skills, including direct client interaction
• Experience interpreting clients’ technical specifications
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Full UK Diving Licence
• SC UK MOD Security clearance required

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed fire protection projects on military vessels worldwide from Manchester base
• Organise deliverable packages and coordinate with design managers
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and procure equipment
• Organise shipping and generate shipping documentation
• Be main point of contact with customers and project team
• Manage project plan using MS Project and monitor progress
• Ensure projects finish on time and within budget to client satisfaction
• Occasional UK travel; overseas travel may be required
