Job summary

VerifyUs is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support marine radar, electronic warfare, and naval solutions on vessels worldwide and shore systems. The role involves UK and international travel, with short trips typically up to two weeks, to install, commission, troubleshoot, and validate systems.

You will draft service reports, estimate costs, and work in tight spaces and at heights up to 70 metres. Hybrid work from home is possible up to 2 days weekly.

Qualifications

• Marine field service experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Computer system knowledge including hardware and software applications.
• Full driving licence
• Tower Climbing & Rescue Certificate, rope proficiency or willing to climb.

Responsibilities

• Travelling within the UK and to multiple overseas destinations, short trips of max two weeks.
• Carry out marine services installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and acceptance tests.
• Draft detailed service reports and costs.
• Physical requirements: walking about 400 metres with a tool kit, up to 10 flights of stairs, then a ladder.
• Work in tight spaces and at heights that could be up to 70 metres.
• Hybrid working from home when possible up to 2 days a week.

Electronic warfare, Radar and Naval Solution Field Service Engineer required to provide field based customer support around the world particularly on Naval or commercial vessels at sea and on shore systems.
