Job summary

Allianz Commercial in London operates Marine portfolio steering with catastrophe risk analytics to guide underwriting decisions and capital allocation. Qualifications

• Experience in CAT risk management and catastrophe modelling.
• Experience in CAT analytics within a catastrophe modelling vendor, insurer, or reinsurer.
• Hands-on experience with CAT modelling tools.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel, VBA, SQL, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAT underwriting tools and reports for Marine to enable portfolio steering and support underwriting.
• Run catastrophe loss modelling reports and prepare data extracts and portfolio analyses.
• Collaborate with Product Leaders and Underwriting to define risk appetite and capacity steering.
• Lead end-to-end data and reporting IT projects, delivering Power BI dashboards for Marine underwriting and portfolio steering.
• Explain CAT modelling results to Marine underwriters and translate findings into action.
