IN A NUTSHELL

The Manufacturing Training Coordinator will ensure all team members are competent in their roles by working alongside the Quality Assurance Manager and Manufacturing Team Leaders to update and develop Standard Operating Procedures, aiming to enhance standards across the production facility.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an engaged, ambitious individual eager to drive change, gain cross-team experience, participate in projects, and contribute to our success.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

1. Identify gaps in production processes and recommend tailored standard operating procedures to address them.
2. Develop and document production procedures aligned with BRC standards to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
3. Lead training meetings, prepare agendas, and discuss key training topics.
4. Deliver training on standard operating procedures to ensure effective implementation and compliance.
5. Present high-quality training briefs to the production team.
6. Create and update a training matrix to track training compliance.
7. Maintain up-to-date training records for all manufacturing team members.
8. Identify skills gaps and coordinate with Production Team Leaders to address them.
9. Assist the Assistant Manufacturing Manager with manufacturing and continuous improvement tasks.
10. Support audits by providing expertise and documentation related to training and procedures.
11. Help scope external training courses beneficial for team development.
12. Collaborate with the Learning and Development Manager to align training with strategic goals.
13. Collect, analyze, and report on training data to improve standards and meet targets.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably with GDSI standards such as BRCGS.
• Proficiency with G-Suite programs (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Skill in creating engaging training materials using authoring tools.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to in-house systems.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
• Self-driven, proactive problem solver, and ambitious.
