Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Newcastle is seeking a Manufacturing Tender Lead to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in preparing execution plans and commercial proposals for client ITTs. You will drive schedules, assess risks, and ensure alignment of scope with client requirements across Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

The role is hybrid and based in Newcastle with international project exposure. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree or equivalent, with strong experience in

• Desirable knowledge of Umbilical products.
• Experience in sales/project client oriented role.

Responsibilities

• Generate and submit Budgetary and Firm Proposal per Procedure.
• Create schedule/commercial proposals in response to ITT.
• Contribute to Obeya routine with updates and meetings.
• Coordinate Manufacturing Readiness Levels and manage risks in RMA system.
• Ensure POs reflect client and TU requirements for lump-sum price.
• Provide commercial guidance translating client inquiries and orders to internal departments.
• Organise hand-over meetings after contract award.
• Provide assistance to Sales, BU Development, and other TU/TechnipFMC groups.
• Monitor, register and expedite progress of proposals.
• Contribute to department improvement, development and implementation of management, quality and HSE procedures.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Manufacturing Tender Lead to join the team in Newcastle.

The Proposals Department is key to securing new business for the Company in conjunction with the relevant Sales Business Units. The Manufacturing Tender Lead is in charge of coordinating various internal stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and the Business Unit, in order to develop the execution plan, schedule, risk register and commercial proposal response to Client Invitations-To-Bid (ITT) for TechnipFMC products.

Job Description

• As allocated, to generate and submit Budgetary and Firm Proposal in accordance with the Proposal Procedure.
• As allocated, to create schedule/commercial proposals as response to the ITT.
• Contribute to the Proposals Obeya routine through regular updates to the boards and attendance of meetings
• Coordinate the assessment of Manufacturing Readiness Levels through the risk review process, and manage risks through the RMA system.
• To ensure PO’s received reflect both client and TU requirements in respect of scope of supply and scope of work for the specified lump sum price.
• To provide commercial l guidance in the translation of Client enquiries, orders, contracts, to internal departments.
• Organise hand-over meetings after contract award with the relevant project management team.
• To provide assistance to others and the relevant Sales Business Unit Development Department and to other departments within TU and TechnipFMC Group as and where required.
• To monitor, register and expedite progress of existing Proposals.
• Contribute and participate in the department improvement, development and implementation of company management, quality and HSE procedures.

You are meant for this job if:

• Degree or equivalent in an engineering related subject or demonstrable industry specific experience in a sales/project client oriented role.
• Knowledge of Umbilical product highly desirable.
