Job summary

Thales UK is hiring an Environmental Test Technician to join our Manufacturing & Engineering team in Glasgow. The role involves hands-on testing to support production, ensuring product quality and reliability.

You will use torque wrenches, multimeters and basic electrical test equipment, while documenting work in MS Word and Excel. We welcome applicants with an HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, a practical mechanical background, and strong attention to detail.

We’re looking for an Environmental Test Technician to join our friendly and skilled team. In this role, you’ll support our production teams—playing an essential part in the quality and reliability of our products.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Using a variety of tools such as torque wrenches and multi-meters
• Supporting simple electrical testing using power supplies and diagnostic tools
• Accurately recording work and following procedures using MS Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

What We’re Looking For

• Hold an HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
