Thales in Glasgow is seeking a Manufacturing Technician – Wiring to join the OME unit. You will work a 4-day week (Mon–Thu), 37 hours, with start times between 6:00 and 7:30, and 30 minutes for lunch. The role involves wiring and building electrical assemblies to drawings at the Glasgow site.
Key tasks include logging incidents, applying IPC standards, and using ERP/Palma tools. The position offers on-site parking, an on-site canteen, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician – Wiring
Hours: 4 day week Monday-Thursday / 37 hours per week
Due to demand we’re looking for experienced Technicians to join our Optronics and Missile Electronics [OME] business unit in Glasgow. With experience in wiring, and building electrical assemblies you’ll be performing manufacturing tasks in accordance with engineering drawings to the required quality.
The roles are based out of our Glasgow manufacturing site. You will work a 4 day week Monday to Thursday and work 9.25 hours per day. Start time is flexible between 6:00am and 7:30am and you get 30 minutes unpaid for lunch. There is also free on-site parking and an on-site canteen.
