Our manufacturing team is now recruiting for a Manufacturing Scientist to support our vaccine manufacturing processes.

The purpose of this role is to execute defined manufacturing support steps for the production of vaccine candidates, following set procedures, protocols, and best cGMP practices. The role involves acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), understanding the process, sharing knowledge, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

1. Execute production steps as defined by SOPs, production records, and protocols.
2. Conduct activities safely and in full compliance with HSE requirements.
3. Report safety concerns via the EMS system and flag at level 1 VAC.
4. Maintain a safety-conscious approach to protect yourself and colleagues.
5. Apply best cGMP work practices and techniques.
6. Support manufacturing processes, including deviation management and validation activities.
7. Report documentation accurately and timely, adhering to ALCOA+ principles.
8. Contribute to safety assessments like COSHH.
9. Keep the workspace clean, tidy, and organized.
10. Participate in shift work and out-of-hours activities as needed.
11. Engage in continuous improvement activities.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
13. Identify and escalate areas for process improvement.
14. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
