Job summary

MTrec is recruiting a Manufacturing Technician on behalf of a UK client. The role focuses on supporting small engineering projects and maintaining on-site processes. You will apply lubricants, monitor plant equipment, and ensure safe, efficient operations on a day shift.

You should have a manufacturing or engineering background, be IT literate, and committed to high safety and quality standards. This permanent position offers progression and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.
• IT literate with ability to operate company systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site service activities.
• Apply and change lubricants and fluids per maintenance schedules.
• Monitor fluids and plant equipment; report using in-house system.
• Manage waste streams for safe disposal off-site.
• Liaise with customers and assist in meetings.
• Follow 5S and Health & Safety procedures.
