Job summary

MTrec Technical are recruiting a permanent Manufacturing Technician to join their engineering site in Scotland. The role involves assisting with small engineering projects and keeping production running smoothly on a day shift.

You will apply lubricants, monitor fluids and plant equipment, and support maintenance schedules while liaising with customers and following 5S and safety procedures. A manufacturing background and IT skills are important.

Qualifications

Background in manufacturing or engineering sectors.
Strong communication skills and customer service focus.
Team oriented with collaborative project experience.
Proficient with IT systems used in maintenance and operations.
Health & Safety conscious and standards-driven.

Responsibilities

Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.
Apply and change lubricants and fluids to agreed planned maintenance schedules.
Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system.
Manage waste streams to safe off-site disposal.
Customer liaison and assisting in meetings.
Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.
