Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to safely produce high-potency pharmaceutical products in line with cGMP standards. You will operate manufacturing suites, monitor processes, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure batch integrity and audit readiness.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in pharma manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work various shifts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or technical certification in a relevant field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical/biotech.
  • Familiarity with GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment (mixers, blenders, tablet presses, encapsulation, packaging lines).
  • Perform in-process checks and record data per batch records and SOPs.
  • Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment and production areas.
  • Prepare and stage raw materials for production runs.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major problems.
  • Adhere to GMP, safety and quality standards; complete batch records and incident reports.
  • Participate in continuous improvement to optimize processes and efficiency.
  • Assist with equipment calibration and preventive maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.

Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for safely and efficiently producing high-potency pharmaceutical products in line with cGMP standards, supporting both commercial and clinical programmes. The role involves preparing and monitoring manufacturing suites, maintaining accurate documentation, managing materials and inventory, and ensuring compliance with ESH and quality standards. The position requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to operate both independently and within a production team to meet scheduled manufacturing targets while maintaining audit readiness.

Job Responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
