Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production of pharmaceutical products. You will execute manufacturing processes according to established protocols and ensure compliance with GMP regulations.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1–3 years in manufacturing and strong attention to documentation and safety. The role involves working on packaging lines and collaborating with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device.
• Familiarity with GMP and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment (mixers, blenders, presses, packaging lines).
• Perform in-process checks and record data per batch records and SOPs.
• Conduct cleaning and sanitization of equipment and areas.
• Prepare and stage raw materials for production runs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major problems.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, quality standards, and GMP.
• Complete documentation (batch records, logbooks, incident reports) timely.
• Participate in continuous improvement to optimize processes.
• Assist with calibration and preventative maintenance as required.
• Communicate effectively with team and other departments to ensure smooth production.

• Perform in-process checks and record data accurately according to batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Prepare and stage raw materials and components for production runs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report more complex problems to maintenance or supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Job Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
