Job description

Role Overview

We are currently looking for a number of Manufacturing Technicians to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Carry out activities connected with the preparation of therapeutic products, including operating large-scale process equipment and performing in-process checks for formulation.
  2. Participate in cleaning activities of the process areas and equipment.
  3. Handle heavy lifting in various sections within Production.
  4. Contribute to improvement initiatives.
  5. Work within a 24/7 shift pattern on a 12-hour rotating schedule (4 days on, 4 rest days, 4 nights on, 4 rest days).

Role Requirements

  1. Previous manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical or food/drink industries is preferred for some departments; for others, no prior experience is required as skills and attitude are more important. Candidates from military, chemical, and logistics backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  2. Ability to follow processes accurately, ensuring products meet quality standards. Good attention to detail, numeracy, literacy, teamwork skills, and adherence to health and safety requirements are essential.
  3. Own transportation is required due to limited public transport options in the area.
