Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacturing, assembly or repair.
• Soldering experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain aviation headsets, leads and adaptors, diagnosing electronic faults with senior technicians.
• Assemble and test new aviation equipment to meet quality and performance standards.
• Carry out precision soldering on electronic components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schemes.
• Perform quality inspections and testing throughout the repair and build process.
• Accurately complete repair records, testing documentation and production paperwork.
• Support the day-to-day running of the workshop, keeping areas clean and organised.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Take part in ongoing training to develop technical knowledge and skills.

Crawley | £14.87 per hour | Temp to Perm | Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with soldering experience and a keen interest in electronics to join a specialist business within the aviation sector. You\'ll receive ongoing training and development while working as part of a friendly, experienced team, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role

• As a Manufacturing Technician, you\'ll be involved in the repair, assembly and testing of specialist aviation equipment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain aviation headsets, leads and adaptors, diagnosing electronic faults alongside senior technicians.
• Assemble and test new aviation equipment, ensuring products meet quality and performance standards.
• Carry out precision soldering on electronic components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Perform quality inspections and testing throughout the repair and build process.
