Assembly Technician

Northamptonshire - Commutable from Towcester, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Brackley, Buckingham, Daventry, Rugby, Banbury and surrounding areas

£27,000 - £30,000 + Flexible Working Hours + Profit Share Bonus + Pension + Training + Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Are you a Production Technician, Assembly Technician, Electronics Assembler or Manufacturing Operative looking to join a specialist engineering company where you'll receive full training, work on industry-leading precision instrumentation and have opportunities to develop skills in electronics, PCB repair and mechanical design?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturer of precision temperature metrology equipment, recognised for its innovation and engineering excellence. Working within a small, collaborative team, you'll play a key role assembling high-precision products that are supplied to customers worldwide.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include assembling mechanical and electronic components, carrying out soldering work, maintaining accurate production records, preparing products for dispatch and working closely with colleagues throughout the production process. You'll also have opportunities to expand your technical knowledge through training in electronics, PCB repair, schematic reading and mechanical design software.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a production, assembly or manufacturing environment, possess excellent attention to detail and be comfortable carrying out precise, repetitive work. Previous soldering experience is advantageous but full training can be provided for the right individual.
