Impact Recruitment Services are recruiting a Production Technician for a specialist manufacturer based in Towcester. This hands-on role focuses on precise assembly, testing and preparation of precision instrumentation in a technically focused environment.

The salary ranges from £27,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, with Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm hours and a permanent contract. You will join a small, collaborative team in Towcester, Northamptonshire.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, assembly or technical environment.
• Soldering experience is advantageous, training possible.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including email and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical housings and electronic components.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual looking to develop their skills within a technically focused manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in the careful assembly, testing and preparation of precision instrumentation, ensuring every product meets the high standards expected by customers.

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, 37.5 hours per week

What you'll be doing:

• Assembling mechanical housings and electronic components.
• Carrying out soldering as part of the assembly process.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, assembly or technical environment.
• Experience with soldering would be advantageous, although candidates with an interest in learning will be considered.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and precisely.
• Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment.
• Basic computer literacy, including email and Excel.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and suppliers.
