Mechanical Technician

Department: Oil & Gas (Subsea)
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Type: Full-Time

As a Mechanical Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations across electronic, mechanical, and systems functions. You'll be hands‑on with testing, troubleshooting, and process control—ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute technical tasks within dedicated work groups and key cell projects
  • Apply test techniques and procedures to validate product integrity
  • Interpret and work from job packets, routings, wire lists, and bills of material
  • Maintain and calibrate production tools and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair product, process, or program defects
  • Read blueprints, identify components, and perform wire preparation, stripping, crimping, harness repair, and termination
  • Operate and program automated machinery
  • Drive continuous improvement using our Manufacturing System principles
What You Bring
  • Experience in a Technology or Manufacturing Center

  • Exposure to technical investigations and production testing
