Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Edinburgh offers a four-year Manufacturing Technical Apprenticeship with on‑the‑job learning and college study to SVQ Level 2, HND, and a Diploma in Engineering SCQF Level 7. You will rotate through testing, manufacturing and office environments to gain hands-on experience.

Programme includes on-site training, academic progression, and a pathway to further study. Includes support for relocation, with security clearances and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3 x Higher Grades (or equivalent):
• Mandatory: Mathematics (A-C) and Physics (A-C) or Engineering Science (A–C)
• Plus another Higher subject, preferably a technological subject (A-C) English – minimum Nat 5 A-C

Responsibilities

• Attend college full-time to complete SVQ Level 2.
• Conduct rotational placements gathering real work evidence.
• Complete an evidence folder showing development into a technician/engineer.
• Attend college on day release to gain required academic qualifications.
