Job summary

Tata Steel UK Limited is hiring a Manufacturing Team Member at Tata Steel Colors for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on on-site operations, safety, and supporting shift objectives with a view to delivering customer excellence.

You will report to the Team Leader, operate equipment per defined procedures, participate in safety and quality processes, and collaborate with transport, warehouse, PPC and others to maintain smooth material flow.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing lines and products preferred.
• Basic IT skills; SAP experience desirable.
• Driving licence advantageous depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing operations on site and ensure safety and safe operation of area.
• Report to Team Leader and support shift team objectives and customer excellence.
• Work in accordance with IMS procedures to provide a safe working environment.
• Operate equipment within area to defined procedures and objectives.
• Participate in audits, checks, and ensure quality standards.
• Involve in line/warehouse operations and potentially cranes/FLT/mobile equipment.
• Use SAP for recording and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and liaise with transport, warehouse, PPC, and others.
• Be flexible to work on any Manufacturing Lines as required.
• May include manual handling and working at height.
