Job summary

KPI Recruiting are looking for a Machine Operator for our client based in Ashton-Under-Lyne. You will operate and monitor production machinery, load materials, and help maintain quality and safety standards on the biscuit production line. Shifts are Monday to Friday with 06:00-14:00 during training and 14:00-22:00 after training.

Pay is £12.71 per hour. Previous manufacturing experience is desirable, and candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform heavy lifting as

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast paced factory environment.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.
• Strong awareness of Health and Safety practices.

As a Machine Operator your working hours and days are:

Monday- Friday

First 2 weeks for training 06:00- 14:00

After training 14:00- 22:00

The rate of pay as a Machine Operator is:

£12.71 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Machine Operator are:

• Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery on the production line
• Ensure biscuits are produced to quality sand safety standards
• Carry out basic machine checks and report faults to supervisors
• Load raw materials and packaging onto production lines
• Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Meet daily production targets while following company procedures
• Complete production records accurately
• Follow all Health and Safety regulations at all times

The ideal candidate for a Machine Operator would need:

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience (desirable but not essential)
• Ability to work in a fast paced factory environment
• Comfortable with performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
